I am currently teaching Medieval Philosophy and Classical Chinese Philosophy at New College of Florida. I have also taught Introduction to Philosophy, Ethics, and Introductory Logic at Villanova University, and World Philosophy at Rowan University. Genuine learning involves the recognition that there is a larger world to discover. I value philosophy as a form of inquiry that provokes these moments of insight and provides us with the intellectual tools to turn them into knowledge. As a teacher, I therefore work with students to uncover and interrogate the presuppositions that shape our understanding of the world and of what is possible, and to think clearly and rigorously about how to address pressing political, economic, moral, and environmental challenges.
